Barrett BORS (Barrett Optical Ranging System)
New by Optics-World.nl Barrett BORS,
The Barrett Optical Ranging System (BORS) is an integrated ballistics computer that mounts directly on the riflescope and couples to the elevation knob.
BORS instantly takes care of the data work by drawing from several tables and taking into account a number of real-time external factors so you can focus on the task of achieving first round hits.
After determining the range to target, simply turn the elevation knob until the BORS screen matches your target's distance. Internal sensors automatically calculate the ballistic solution. BORS compensates for temperature and barometric pressure, calculates angle cosine and displays rifle cant.
NEW! Schmidt & Bender High Power Digital
The new PM II Digital line offers the world's first solution for projecting data from external devices into a scope's field of view. While the function of the scope is retained even without an external device, various devices, such as range finders or wind gauges, can be connected to provide the sniper with additional targeting information. The solution has already been implemented in the 5-25x56 PM II and 3-27x56 PM II as part of a research project for the American government. Even though this is currently only a demonstration of the technology, this product line will open up completely new possibilities for the use of scopes in the future.
A combat proven feature of all our sniper rifles is the polymer and alloy chassis (not merely a stock), which provides the rigidity, strength and durability necessary to provide a stable, rugged platform for the barreled action in all weather and in any environment.
Accuracy International Chassis Systems bring the ergonomic and functional benefits of our latest advanced AX and AT sniper rifle systems to the Remington 700 platform.
In the ATAICS and particularly in the AXAICS, these benefits are delivered with degrees of modularity and configurability that cannot be achieved with any traditional stock. Quick and easy to install and requiring no specialised gunsmithing, both chassis systems are available for short and long Remington 700 actions in .308 Win, .300 Win Mag and .338 Lapua Magnum families of cartridges.
Today’s snipers need to rule the battlefield day and night. AI Chassis Systems make that more achievable.
Zeiss VICTORY V8 4.8–35x60
The long-range revolution
The benchmark in the VICTORY V8 line. 35x magnification combined with the BDC Competition bullet drop compensator stands for ultimate long-distance shot excellence. The smallest targets appear highly detailed and and so close that you can touch them. Sensational 92 % light transmission and the unique 60 mm lens provide the necessary brightness to enable accurate long-range shots even at high magnification in darkness. A large exit pupil facilitates fast target acquisition as soon as the weapon is raised. The optical system on the VICTORY V8 impresses with maximum detail rendition thanks to its combination of HT and FL concepts, and also comes standard with parallax compensation. The latest VICTORY V8 from ZEISS therefore unites the properties of the most flexible riflescope on the market with those of a spotting scope. Another highlight is the finest illuminated dot in the world that features subtension the size of a two cent coin at a distance of 1.000 m. In short, it is the most powerful riflescope from ZEISS.

Nightforce Velocity™ Reticle Calculator
The Velocity™ Reticle provides precise shot placement without having to estimate holdover.
Welcome to the Nightforce Velocity™ Reticle Calculator. On the following pages you will be guided through the necessary steps in order to determine the best reticle and scope available for your ballistic profile. In order to use this calculator effectively, it is recommended that you know the following data:
- Your Bullet’s Ballistic Coefficient
- Your Bullet’s Weight (in grains)
- Your Confirmed Muzzle Velocity (in feet per second)
- Atmospheric Conditions (Optional)
Armasight Helios (FLIR) THERMAL IMAGING BINOCULARS
The Armasight Helios line is the latest and most technologically advanced family of thermal imaging bi-oculars on the market today. Bi-ocular design is better for sustained viewing periods and improved depth perception. The Helios product line is based on the latest FLIR Tau 2 VOx microbolometer core, and includes a variety of different models, each optimizing performance, price, and state-of-the-art technology for a variety of uses and mission applications. The Helios is a solid state, uncooled, long-wave infrared, magnified, dedicated handheld thermal imager intended for day and nighttime missions. The 24/7 mission capability is just one of the many strengths this product line has to offer. Thermal imaging technology also allows you to detect targets by cutting through snow, dust, smoke, fog, haze, and other atmospheric obscurants. Unlike the use of laser targeting or nearinfrared illumination to augment night vision equipment, Helios thermal imagers are extremely difficult to detect with other devices, as they emit no visible light or RF energy. Armasight is convinced that the Helios thermal imaging bi-ocular represents one of the most sophisticated devices on the market today, due to its superior price-to-performance value.
The Atlas bipod offers many features that place it in a category of its own. Those features include legs that move independently and can be deployed in a 45 degree position either forwards or backwards, in the traditional 90 degree position, and facing directly to the front or back, locking securely into 5 positions through a 180 degree arc. It provides the shooter with 30 total degrees left to right Pan as well as 30 total degrees of Cant; making it easy to align your cross hairs on the target regardless of the terrain. Offering the strength and stability that shooters demand, the Atlas provides rock solid support while weighing less than 11 ounces. The Patented Atlas is constructed of the finest materials and built to the highest standards in the USA.
