The NT940 / Mini14 is one of the smallest devices. Smaller and lighter than the PVS14 and yet the same optical performance (measured and confirmed by the Fraunhofer Institute).
This is a multifunctional night vision device of the latest generation for the professional user. With its compact design, it is designed as a mono device (monocular) hand-held or with a head mount for observation with maximum mobility under all lighting conditions.
Two monocular devices can be combined to a binocular system using a mounting bridge. By expanding the field of view and the ability to see stereoscopically, this system is even suitable for driving vehicles.
Optional attachment lenses with 3x, 4x or 5x magnification allow use as night vision binoculars or night vision telescope. Low weight, water resistance and excellent ergonomics make this device an indispensable companion in many situations. The image intensifier tubes built into the NIGHT-TRONIC 940 have the same construction format as those of current pilot glasses. The optical components are optimized for this format and are not a "compromise solution". The housing (Made in the USA) is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic for maximum thermal and technical stress and unbeatable weight.
